I am Ram Naresh Mittal, an approved tourist Guide with an exceptional understanding and enthusiasm for my native country India. In short you can call me Ram. In 1982, through a tough competition conducted by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, I was selected as a trainee for North Region Tourist Guide. After a thorough training and the knowledge imparted by experts to cater the needs of foreign based tourists, a list of 32 successful candidates was declared. I secured 8th position among top ten.
Though, I am based in Agra but as Regional Tourist Guide my area of operation is entire Northern region which includes Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Union territory of Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttrakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
I am holder of Master degree in Physics. My study and knowledge of History is based on scientific reasons and logic. The subjects of my interest are
- Indian History
- Mughal history and Architecture
- Hindu Philosophy, beliefs and social structure
- Bit of flora and fauna
I am specialized in the Golden Triangle tour which includes Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
Since 1982, I have being working as an English speaking tourist Guide and Escort. During these years, I have conducted the sightseeing of thousands of group and F.I.T’s through prominent national and international travel agents.
